Route 3 (Two Weeks)

Day 1 - Parga

Setting off we sail to Parga on mainland Greece, stopping for lunch and a swim along the way. We
arrive at Parga late afternoon and you will have time to spend wandering around this beautiful village
with its historic Venetian Castle.

Day 2 - Preveza

The day will be spent sailing south-easterly with a short stop at ‘Two Rock Bay’ before heading down towards
Preveza for the night, where you can explore the waterfront with its many shops and tavernas.

Day 3 - Spartachori

We sail down through the Lefkas Canal past the islands of Skorpios and Skorpidhi (Scorpio Islands) owned
by the Onassis family, before reaching Spartachori. The village is located at the top of the hill above
the port; it's well worth the walk for the stunning views over the north part of the Island of Meganisi.

Day 4 - Sivota

Sailing this short distance - with a view of some caves along the way - leaves plenty of time for
relaxing before lunch. The small port of Sivota is made up of a steep hillside covered in olive trees
and bars and tavernas to make your choice for your evening meal.

Day 5 - Fiskardo

After setting sail we view more of the coast of Lefkas before stopping for lunch. We then catch the
afternoon breeze and sail down to Fiskardo. This is a very popular area for yachts and the picturesque village
was the only place on Cephalonia to escape damage in the 1953 earthquake which devastated much of the Ionian.

Day 6 - Kioni

After enjoying sightseeing and the views that Fiskardo has to offer, we head south around the
southern point of Ithaki towards Kioni. This is a very tranquil bay with tavernas and bars, short
walks to a number of secluded coves, and a good chance to stretch those sea legs.

Day 7 - Kalamos / Kastos

A leisurely start to the day as we make our way to an anchorage in ‘One House Bay’, a lovely
spot for lunch, swimming and sunbathing. We then head off to our destination for the evening.

Day 8 - Vathi

A relaxing day sailing around the island of Kalomos before heading for our port of call for the evening.
Vathi, the capital village of Meganisi, is very quite but livens up through the summer with visiting yachts.

Day 9 - Lefkas

Heading north we arrive at Lefkas which stands on the bank of the Lefkas Canal. With its new marina
and waterfront bars and tavernas, this will show you a lively and different side to the istands.

Day 10 - Gaios

After negotiating the swinging bridge at the end of the canal we head for for Gaios on the island of
Paxos and anchor in one of the tranquil bays on Anti Paxos for lunch. The night will be spent moored
up in the beautiful town of Gaios.

Day 11 - Lakka

Staying on the wonderful island of Paxos we sail round the west side of the island to the picturesque
bay of Lakka. Here you can wander around the small hamlet and attractive harbour.

Day 12 - Mourtos

Sailing towards Mourtos on the Greek mainland we anchor in one of the bays of Sivota for lunch.
Arriving in the late afternoon, we moor up for the evening to catch the stunning sunset over Corfu.

Day 13 - Corfu Town

Heading north we sail to the capital of Corfu. With its two large forts and Venetian architecture there is
plenty to see and do. Or you can sit back and relax in one of the many cafes and bars on the esplanade.

Day 14 - Gouvia Marina

After spending the night in the harbour at Corfu town, we head leisurely back towards Gouvia Marina with
perhaps a short stop at Kalami for lunch and a last chance to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Ionian.
